I live in Dowagiac with my husband, Bill, and together we have four grown children and ten wonderful grandchildren. Being a grandma is one of my greatest joys, and I especially love hosting slumber parties with the grandkids. Life is always a little more fun when they're around!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, relaxing with a good book, working puzzle books, and watching movies. Football is the one sport that really captures my attention, and you'll find me cheering on the Detroit Lions every season. I also enjoy quiet moments with Bill and, if I'm being honest, an occasional nap in my favorite chair.
If I could recommend one getaway destination, it would be Drummond Island in Northern Michigan. It’s one of my favorite places to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. When it comes to food, it's hard to beat a plate of beef and noodles, a strawberry daiquiri, and a bowl of ice cream for dessert. That's my idea of a perfect meal!
I believe some of life's greatest blessings are found in simple moments—time with family, good friends, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
